How can teeenagers spend their holidays usefully?

It's going to be holiday next week...what kind of activities should teenagers carry out to fulfill their holiday? It's not gonna be ok if teenagers spend most of the time on the 'world wide web' during holidays, but this is what today's teenagers do--Facebook, MSN, Friendster, Dota, blogs...3 to 4 hours in front of the screen, isn't it true? Exactly like a vegetable:-( !! (GOSH~)

Now, the biggest question is how to pass away so much free time. There're lots to do during holidays actually...Here are 10 suggestions for those'nothing-to-do' teenagers:-

If u're an adventurous person, or u're too bored at home, do give it a try to explore the outside world! U can either travel with your friends or families; it CAN be fun!!
#Outdoor activities
Live an active lifestyle & keep yourself fresh & energized everyday! Find a sport you really enjoy. It could be a game of tennis with your friends or a having a whale of a time in the swimming pool. You would surely get rid of your boredom and it would be a great form of exercise as well.
#Get a job
It's a good idea to prepare yourself to face the challenges in the future, & to earn some pocket $$, but 1st u MUST get your parents' permission.
#Do something u like
Try not to waste your time, do something u really like this holiday! Maybe u hv no time to do b4 exams, but what about during holidays? Cooking, baking, listening to music, dancing, shopping, painting...or...?!

It is indeed a pleasure to learn a foreign language or culture. It will widen your perspective & risen your life. Maybe u could get more apportunities in the future too!

Happiness :-)

I am Careen.
& I'm HAPPY.
I AM HAPPYcareen.
What is happiness actually mean by? Friends of mine always surrounded by problems, but I don't know how could these nasty problems stuck to thir lives? Problems make people unhappy, frustrated, worried, craZy...etc. However, they keep turning round & round by problems until their precious youth 'passed away' without knowing. Why can't they just take a large firm step forward & march towards a world full of happiness? Life is not just about exams, rush hours, complicated friendship/relationship, cocurricular activities...blah blah blah.
It doesn't make sense if you locked yourself with these stuffs each day & feel negative about it. It's important to fulfill your day with happiness & experience the flow of pleasure from the deepest of your heart...so that your life won't go past in a series of boring experiences.

Famous Quotes::

Albert Camus:
You will never be happy if you continue to search for what happiness consists of. You will never live if you are looking for the meaning of life.

H.H. the Dalai Lama:
The basic thing is that everyone wants happiness, no one wants suffering. And happiness mainly comes from our own attitude, rather than from external factors. If your own mental attitude is correct, even if you remain in a hostile atmosphere, you feel happy.

What gives the best of your day?

#A hot drink in a cold rainy day?

#A cold shower in a boiling afternoon?

#A big packet of kacang putih in your hand?

#Lying in bed after a whole day in school?

#......

So my friends, a simple act could bring happiness. Try to be happy everyday!! ;-) I hereby present you guys a song which 'makes u happy'--

Rain drops keep falling on my head

Raindrops keep falling on my head

And just like the guy whose feet are too big for his bed

Nothing seems to fit

Those raindrops are falling on my head, they keep falling

So I just did me some talking to the sun

And I said I didn’t like the way he got things done

Sleeping on the job

Those raindrops are falling on my head, they keep falling

But there’s one thing I know

The blues they send to meet me

Won’t defeat me

It won’t be long till happiness steps up to greet me

Raindrops keep falling on my head

But that doesn’t mean my eyes will soon be turning red

Cryin’s not for me

Cause I’m never gonna stop the rain by complaining

Because I’m free

Nothing’s worrying me

##This song is 1 of my favourite collection. It comes with a slow and smooth tone that gives me a sense of calmness and enjoyment. The great thing is, it won an Academy Award for Best Original Song in the 1970s. I started to fall in love with his song since the 1st time I heard it in 2006. It was very late since this song had been written in 1969 by Hal David & Burt Bacharach. At that time, I was not even born yet!

Despite being 40 years old, 'Raindrops keep falling on my head' keeps on moving people in its era with its meaningful lyric. I reeeeeeaaaaaally like the last part of the lyric:'Cause I'm never stop the rain by complaining-because I'm free-nothing's worrying me~'. If we have too much to be worried about, happiness will no longer be with us...& we will probably lose the true freedom that we're longing for...We should think about our lives--as nothing is more pleasurable than a life free from problems & troubles. Remember, crying is not for us, so don't worry, be happy!^^
